Kiernan Shanahan

Kiernan is a former Upstate New Yorker who now calls Eastern North Carolina home—and he’s passionate about helping others experience their transition to the area as positively as he did. A former Division I wrestler at North Carolina State University, Kiernan has been part of the North Carolina community for years.
After a career-ending knee injury, Kiernan pivoted from athletics to real estate, channeling his competitive drive and focus into helping clients buy and sell homes. He now specializes in residential transactions across Brunswick, Pender, and New Hanover counties.
Kiernan holds a Bachelor's degree in History from NCSU, where he honed his skills in research, analysis, and communication—skills that serve his clients well in navigating real estate decisions. His inclusion on the ACC Academic Honor Roll reflects the same commitment to excellence that he brings to his work today.
Outside of real estate, Kiernan stays active in the Brunswick County community, coaching wrestling, judo, and jiu-jitsu at a local club. He’s also a fan of great food and enjoys, in his words, “getting my butt kicked in pickleball.”
