Teri went into real estate because she wanted to get her life back. She was working in a corporate position, putting in too many hours during the week, and didn't have balance or time to spend on herself. Real estate seemed to offer her the opportunity to get her life back by being her own boss. The problem with that, she found, is that many people go into business for themselves because they like the idea of being their own boss, but don't really know how to be their own boss.
