Big News | Back to School

This year, the parents at KBT have a brand-new middle schooler at Waterview Learning Academy, a 5th grader at Surf City Elementary School, a 3rd grader at Coastal Preparatory Academy, a Topsail Middle School 8th grader, 7th grader at Southeastern Christian Academy, and a senior at East Bladen High. KBT parents are also proud of their college students: a freshman at Wake Tech, and an upper classman at Eastern Carolina University. (Liliana, right, is ready for the school year.)
Many of the househunters we work with have questions about school districts and private school options. An excellent source of information is https://www.greatschools.org, with reviews, ratings, and community resources. More information on public schools in the area is available on the school district websites:

Your Local Experts | Ocean Isle Beach
Four and a half square miles. Winter water temperature about 70 degrees. Fishing pier. And 460 active listings.

One thing I love about Ocean Isle Beach is the Ocean Isle Fishing Center. Whether eating outside on one of the decks at the restaurant or sitting at the docks watching boats come in from charter fishing, it’s always a fun relaxing atmosphere. The fishing center hosts many fishing tournaments as well. There’s always a crowd there to watch the teams weigh in. The gift shop has everything you need for fishing, OIB attire and souvenirs.
