“Anne worked with us a year ago as marketing consultant, and we are excited that she has now come on as full-time marketing director,” says Broker/Realtor Becky Brown, co-owner of KBT Realty Group. “Anne’s skills in communications and marketing are a real asset for the team, and she will provide hands-on support for KBT agents and their clients in marketing listings and promoting the KBT brand.”
Anne was previously with the nonprofit LINC, Inc., as Director of Development and Communications. Prior to that, she worked with the Florida-based online shopping portal and catalog expert, Catalogs.com, as Public Relations and Communications Director. She has more than thirty years of experience in direct mail, social media management, and digital communications.
A graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and then a long-time resident of Chicago, Anne has lived in Wilmington for eight years. She is a member of the Residents of Old Wilmington, and board chair of the Cape Fear chapter of the American Humanist Association. Anne has consulted with a number of local businesses on digital marketing, and is the owner of the website Port City Foodie.
“This career opportunity is perfect for me: real estate is dynamic, and I love the challenge of marketing in a fast-paced and competitive vertical. KBT and Keller Williams are doing exciting things in their digital transformation, which means there are new technologies to leverage, too,” Anne says. “My parents have lived in Wilmington for more than twenty years, so I have a strong Wilmington connection. My kids grew up spending the summers and holidays here. I especially love historic downtown, and am really fortunate to live where I can walk to all the great restaurants - I’m a real foodie - that the riverfront area has to offer.”
